This Initial Consultation Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions between Stephanie Dewar, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) # R711183 and the undersigned prospective client(s).
The purpose of the initial consultation is to get to know you, answer your questions and to understand your unique needs. I will provide you with a comprehensive analysis and sufficient information on the relevant Canadian immigration program/issues based on information received on the General Immigration Assessment form. The consultation will also provide you with an understanding of your eligibility in addition to next steps.
The fee for the initial consultation is $85.00 CND for a 30 minutes consultation, or $180.00 CND for a one hour consultation. All fees are payable prior to the commencement of the consultation via e-transfer at info@shdlighthouse.com from a Canadian bank, Western Union, or wire transfer, instructions will be provided individually. Payment and completed assessment form are to be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation appointment. Any time in excess of one hour will require a new agreement and standard fees will apply.
To cancel or reschedule your consultation, please email info@shdlighthouse.com at least 24 hours (EST) prior to your scheduled appointment. The fee for a missed appointment will not be refunded. You may also reschedule your consultation at no cost two times. The consultation will be conducted via online communication means, such as Zoom or WhatsApp video.
The information provided to the RCIC in the general immigration assessment form and during the initial consultation is for the purpose of obtaining a consultation only and is not intended to be for Canadian immigration representation purposes. Should you wish to retain the services of the RCIC as your Authorized Representative, a Services Agreement shall be agreed by the parties. All information and documentation provided shall remain strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or otherwise required by law.
Please be advised that Stephanie Dewar is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), and as such, is bound by its Bylaw, Code of Professional Conduct, and Regulations. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Ontario, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
By electronically signing this agreement and by remitting payment through one of the above payment methods, I acknowledge that I agree to the above terms and conditions in this Initial Consultation Agreement.
